Chelsea (or Chel) Reed, also known as her online handle and mascot character Nym, is a 30-something year old artist in the Southeastern United States, and uses she/they pronouns.

Beginning at an early age, Chel was interested in art of all kinds, particularly drawing animals, flowers, and character sketches. While life would take her away from her creative passions for many years, she’s finally returned home to them.

Enjoying a myriad of media which includes (but is not limited to) digital painting, character illustrations, pyrography, macramé, marker work, watercolor, fiber arts, and polymer clay, Chel’s art is inspired by wildlife, botanicals, pets, bones, witchcraft, natural scenery, food, fursonas, cryptids, folklore, and other sundry topics.

In her spare time, Chelsea enjoys reading, writing, playing tabletop role-playing games and video games, gardening, baking, archery, brewing, and witchcraft.
